How to delete a physical card ?
Did you damage your card, want to switch to a different plan, deactivate a colleague's card, lose it, or was it stolen?
You can delete a physical card at any time. To report it, you have several options: report it as Lost or Stolen, or Delete the card (if you still have it).
To report it as Lost or Stolen:
- From the 'Business Account' section, click on 'Cards'.
- Select the card in question and then click on Report lost or stolen in the bottom right corner.
- If you wish to order a new card, please refer to this article.
To delete it (if you still have it):
- From the 'Business Account' section, click on 'Cards'.
- Select the card in question and then click on Delete card in the bottom right corner.
- You will then have the option to order a new one by clicking on Order a new card.
☝️ Good to know: This action is irreversible and will permanently block your card. Therefore, carefully check your recent transactions to ensure no fraudulent activity has occurred. This will also stop any fees associated with your card.
How to delete a virtual card?
You can easily delete a virtual card (including Online advertising cards and Instant* cards) from your Qonto interface. This action must be performed by the Account Holder, Admin or Manager (for their team).
☝️ Good to know : Your card will definitely be deactivated, you will not be able to reactivate it afterward.

From the section “Business Account”, click on “Cards”

Select the virtual card you want to delete

In the bottom right corner, click on “Delete Card”. Then select “Delete”

Done ! Your virtual card is deactivated.
💡 If the card is "Blocked", it must first be "Unblocked" before it can be deleted. Check this article to know how to proceed. This will also stop the fees that are linked to it.
The Instant* card expires on the end date set initially.
