Bulk invoice payments enable you to select and process multiple supplier invoices simultaneously from the Supplier Invoices section. Instead of handling each invoice individually, you can select several unpaid invoices, review all payment details in a consolidated view, and execute all payments through one streamlined workflow.
Key Benefits:
- Save time: Eliminate hours of repetitive processing, especially during month-end cycles
- Reduce manual work: Process multiple payments with a single workflow instead of separate data entry for each invoice
- Scale efficiently: Handle growing invoice volumes without workflow bottlenecks
- Streamlined process: No need for external CSV/XML files - everything is managed within the platform
This feature is available for:
- Owner and Admin roles
- Manager roles with Manage suppliers and supplier invoices permission
How does bulk invoice payment work?
Step-by-step process:
- Access your Supplier Invoices section:
- Go to Invoices → Supplier Invoices
- Select invoices:
- Check the boxes next to unpaid invoices you want to pay
- You can select invoices from different suppliers
- Initiate bulk payment:
- Click the Pay button that appears in the bottom
- [if applicable] review the non-payable invoices to continue with payment (non-payable invoices include invoices with missing information, pending approval, not in SEPA zone)
- Validate payment details:
- Review the consolidated payment summary (supplier names and amounts)
- [only on desktop app] edit the reference, amount or supplier information, notify beneficiary by email, add attachments
- Select the account from which you want to make the payment
- Review the consolidated payment summary (supplier names and amounts)
- [only on desktop app] payment method:
- Select SEPA transfer, instant transfer, or scheduled transfer
- Set execution date for scheduled payments
- Execute payments:
- Confirm and process all payments in one action with one mobile confirmation
After processing:
- All paid invoices automatically move to the Completed tab
- Individual transactions appear in your Transactions history
- Invoices remain attached to their corresponding transactions
Limitations and considerations:
- Plan requirement: Available for all plans
- Payment methods: Supports SEPA, instant, and scheduled transfers (no card payments or direct debits)
- Approval workflows: Bulk payments follow your existing approval settings
- Invoices requested to be paid in bulk will appear in the To pay tab
- Transfer limits: Transfer limits still apply to bulk payments
- All invoices in a single batch must use the same payment method (you cannot mix instant and scheduled payments)
- Ensure your account balance is sufficient to cover the entire batch before processing
