What are the basics for managing my Overview/Dashboard?

  • Updated

Your Overview or Dashboard is accessible from both your computer and smartphone.

As an Owner, Admin, or Accountant, you can access it in two ways:

  • From the web app: click on Overview in the left sidebar.
  • From the mobile app: tap on the Menu section at the bottom right of your screen, then select Dashboard.

This app page helps you track the money moving in and out of your Qonto account. If you have multiple accounts, you can choose one or see them all. The data presented on the page will reflect to your selection.

The dashboard consists of different indicators:

  • Balance
  • Transactions
  • Cash flow
  • Client invoices to collect and Supplier invoices to pay
  • Inflows and Outflows over time.
  • Inflows and Outflows by category

Before exploring the different sections, here is some basic information to help you understand how your dashboard works.

Memory of your dashboard

  • The chart options for a given member are stored on each device. If you choose to change the time period of a chart, the next time you log in to Qonto on the same device with your profile, these settings will still be in place.
  • The chart options for a given "member" are stored for each organization. If you have multiple accounts, the settings you set for company A will only be valid for company A. They will not be applied by default to Company B and C.
  • The graphics options are specific to each member for the same account.
  • If you are the account Owner and your partner has Admin access, your chart settings may be completely different for each of you.

Account Selection & Balances

  • You can filter your dashboard by clicking All accounts or by selecting a specific account.
  • If you have multiple accounts, the main balance displayed is the total sum, while the individual balances for each account appear in the list below.
  • If you select only one account, you’ll see the balance just for that account.
  • You can also choose to hide your balance from the Overview.

Filtering Your Data

  • You can filter the data on your dashboard based on your plan, the indicator you’re viewing, and the period you want to analyse, just use the drop-down menu next to each indicator.

Cash Flow & Transactions Indicators

  • For the Cash Flow indicator, you can choose to display data from the last 3, 6, or 12 months, or year-to-date.
  • For Transactions, you can filter by this week, this month, or last month. Within the Transactions section, you can also decide to view only transactions with attachments, without attachments, or simply the most recent ones.

Using the Mobile Dashboard

  • You can view your available balance, inflows, outflows, change in cash, and a cash flow graph.
  • You can also see inflows by their source, and outflows broken down by team member, team, or beneficiary.
